Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for the role of Bo. Silk was produced at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of the drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Her father, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories were of going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mother do her job. Silk played a role as a young girl in commercials. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. They were engaged in 2009, and were married at a civil wedding ceremony in December of the same year. In Fredericton on the 10th of April in 2011, they renewed vows after her change of religion to Judaism. Silk had a child that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th, 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis, a succubus, in Lost Girl. Silk was expecting while filming the finale of the third series. She announced the pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on 6 January 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 that she was ready to return to work. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production for the fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) as well as Lauren the actress (Zoie) among their top television couples. Entertainment Television.
